Wyatt's 9 Months Old

Say 'hello' to 2 new teeth!!! I just checked today and he has 2 new teeth that broke through the bottom gums... that makes teeth #'s 7 & 8!!! He now has 4 teeth on top and 4 on bottom.

I knew it would be soon as he was a little hot yesterday and his nose started leaking in addition to the increase in his drool.

Not sure if I'll be able to get a pic of them as he isn't letting me really even look at them... maybe if I get him laughing and do it that way again.

I think this is a funny pic with the cat next to him... LOL

Standing

Well, here's the only 2 pictures that I have so far of Wyatt standing up without using his hands or any part of his body to support himself. The dark one... I accidently held the flash down... LOL I was too excited to finally get a picture of him doing it! LOL Its hard to get these type of pictures as you never know when he'll do it (because he won't just stand up if you stand him up... he has to do it himself). I took these while I was sitting at my PC... Oh, another reason why its hard to get pics of him doing this because I have to get the camera or if I have the camera, it takes a second or 2 to start up and by then... he's probably down... LOL

He really likes pushing his sisters around too :D
I have NO idea why has that hat on her head or why she's not matching her night clothes... she's her own person is my only explanation! LOL

He's also cruising around the sofa now too :D

Unassisted Standing!

Well, no pictures of this feat... but, Wyatt took his hands off all by himself today while standing up!!! He stood up next to me for like at least 3 seconds, without touching anything! He was sooo excited!!!

I was sitting on the floor in the living room. He crawled up to me, pulled himself into standing position and then he let go! So cute!

Its getting really hard to take pictures of him now that he's so mobile! LOL I sit him somewhere but he immediately starts crawling off to something that grabs his attention :D

Wyatt's 8 Months Old

This is a picture taken today while at his Aunt Tasha's house since that's where we were today when he turned 8 mths :) This pic makes me laugh because he looks all hunched over in it :D Of course, the drool on his shirt & chin is noticeable.

Stats:
Sill nursing (of course)
He has 6 teeth out altogether (2 bottom center, and 4 top front - but the two on the side of the front are just now working their way up to visibility)
He's 19 lbs
He's crawling everywhere and over things
He's pulling up on everything & everyone
When he's standing, he lets go and tries to stand by himself
While on all fours, he straightens up his legs
He sits on his knees
He loves hair: grabs it, pulls it, tries to eat it
He's super clingy right now
Stops crying immediately after I pick him up
He hugs me a whole lot (puts his head down on my chest, leg, wherever and just stays for a few seconds)
Gives me open mouth kisses
Chews on my hands, knees (OUCH! those teeth are sharp!)
Will stop crying (most of the time) if I tickle him
He's super ticklish and has the best laugh :)
Loves the backpack carrier
Loves bathtime
Loves splashing
Loves being outside
Has discovered his tongue this weekend!
Sticks his tongue out and makes that 'ttthhhsss" sound (ykwim?)
Loves the vacuum cleaner
Knows when bedtime is and won't nurse (most of the time) unless we're in bed but will stay awake crying/complaining until I get him to bed.

Hmm.... that's about all I can think of right now... :D

Wyatt and Our Parakeet

This is our bird's way of letting us know that he's hungry...

He comes down on the floor or swoops down at our heads.

Since we were in the living room, he landed amongst Wyatt's toys and intrigued our son :D

*If you noticed he's naked, its because I had just finished changing him when the bird decided to visit, so, that made Wyatt wanna get up*

Wyatt was after him... I had thought I had gotten video of Wyatt going after the bird, but I hadn't pressed the button on my camera all the way down so, no footage... it was cute too.
"Whatcha doin' on my toy, bird?"
And yes, I fed the bird after taking these pics :)

Teeth Update

Even though they aren't completely out, you can see his top teeth in that smiley picture of him! Isn't he so precious?

And if crawling isn't fast enough for him, he's pulling up on everyone and everything that he can. You can see that he much rather the outside of the walker than the inside of it... plus, as you can see in that pic with the walker, he put his feet on the side of it!
