15 Weeks

Here's Wyatt again :D I took these pictures yesterday. Its hard for me to take pics of him smiling/laughing because the sec I get the camera up to snap the shot, he stops, for the most part! lol So, the best pics so far, have been when I was making him smile and Tasha took the pictures :D

But, this child... he's so sweet! You just want to hug him all the time! If you don't believe me, just ask Ursula... lol She's constantly picking him up, putting him in other chairs, sofa, on her lap, etc. And you know, he never cries or complains! He just smiles at her! hehee

He 'talks' so much too! Its sooo sweet! I love it!

He's just a joy, pure and simple! I love him, love him, LOVE HIM! hehehe

13 Weeks

Here's a picture of Wyatt that his Aunt Tasha took this past Saturday. Isn't he so cute??? hehehe She took a bunch of him and a few of my girls. They are all soooo precious! I can't wait to get the rest of them!

Also, I weighed him at her house too; he weighs 13.5lbs :D I need to measure him again but can't find the tape to do it right now.

And OMG, a HUGE thank-you to Kimber!!! She sent me a nice, nice camera!!! I'm in heavan!!! Its a Kodak Easyshare with 5.0 mp and 10x zoom! Its awesome!

I haven't really played with it too much yet, had a rather busy day but I can't wait to take some pictures!

Wyatt's 3 Months Old

So, he's officially 3 months old now! hehehe
I brought him (again) to take pics; this time, we actually got to do it! They'll be in by April 12th. The package is of Wyatt, black background, full body, barefoot, elf-looking... hehehe We got 2 other shots of him alone. We have a picture of all 3 kids together, one of just Calista, one of just Ursula, and one of me and Wyatt together (I kept this one because Wyatt's smiling really good in it, otherwise, I would have 86'ed it because of how big I still look! lol). I'll be scanning them all in once I get them! Oh, and NO, we were all wearing the same colors. I wasn't really going to put them all in the pics... maybe just one with them all three (I intend on bringing the girls for their own individual shoots once the price comes down again).

This was the best picture I could get of him today... which is why I brought him in to take pics. I might have gotten better ones outside, but it was rainy all day.

I have no idea how much he weighs. Not sure about his length... my measuring tape as disappeared... I'm sure that has to do with the little hands of Ursula... :D

Wyatt's 12 Weeks Old!

Wow, its already been 12 weeks since Wyatt's entry into this world via our bathtub! hehehe

He's normally in a good mood. The only times he really cries is if he's sleepy but doesn't want to nurse; instead, he wants to be on my shoulder to go to sleep.

And even if he's feeling grouchy, I can usually make him smile by just talking to him. He loves his mommy so much! hehehe He usually wakes up happy. And he ALWAYS stretches when he wakes up in the morning. Its soooo cute! He'll stretch for a good five minutes or so.

I'm not sure about his weight, but he's definitely gaining; although he doesn't look anything like how Ursula did at that age! Urs was soooo much chubbier!

Last night, he went to sleep around 5:30pm, woke up around 9:30 pm. I put him back to sleep in our bed. He woke up once last night to nurse, continued sleeping and then woke up at 9:00am this morning, stretching :D

He's still gnawing on his hands and mine.

He makes the sweetest cooing sounds to me.

What's funny is that it seems like he plays with his daddy. When Jeremy looks at him in the face, Wyatt will turn his head really fast, side to side, as if to avoid looking at him! lol Its so funny.

Of course, it just has to rain today... LOL So, these are under our carport... but, at least they come out better then the pics I took inside our house.

What's funny about cheaper digital cameras is that if you move or the subject moves, and depending how close you are, the picture will warp. Its pretty funny... so, I have some pics of him with his head all crazy looking...

About Wyatt, I'll update tomorrow, when he's officially 12 weeks old :D I'll just say for now, that he's such a sweet baby!

11 Weeks 5 Days

11 Weeks 4 Days

Okay, I got Jeremy to go buy me one of those cheapo digital cameras... just until he buys me my 'GOOD' one for my birthday next month. I just couldn't go without any longer! I went 5 weeks without already! I missed so many pics I could have taken of my boy!
Here's two from last night. Of course, it is a cheapo camera, so the images aren't great... but, they'll do! This is a camera I need to use outside moreso than indoors. The flash is too bright; crazy, huh?

Teething???

It just can't be!
Wyatt's constantly chewing on his fists/fingers.
Well, yesterday, we went to J's parents' house and his mom looked in W's mouth and said it looks to her that he's cutting his "I" teeth! You can see little points coming out of his gums! NOoooo! Not yet! He's just 2 mths old!!!

I'm really hating not having my digital camera. I'd take pics of those gums... plus, he's smiling sooo much now! Its too cute!

Wyatt's Hands

He loves his hands.
Particularly his right one. He puts it in his mouth ALL the time.
Sometimes he sucks on his knuckles, sometimes he chews on them!!!
He can't be teething already, huh???
Well, he can be... Ursula's first tooth popped up at 5 mths old... and sometimes a baby will teethe for a couple months prior....
AND, aside from that time I took pics of him sucking his thumb, I hadn't seen him do it again. Well, the other day, he once again found his thumb! I didn't discourage it because it was sooo cute! And apparently he's trying to self-soothe! My other kids didn't do that!

I really hate not having a working camera.

Eyewitness to Rolling Over

Yep, the night before last, we finally witnessed Wyatt rolling over!!! We had come home from visiting my sibs and getting my car; it was after 1am. We put him in bed and he was just all animated... happy and wiggling... and farting... LOL

Anyways... he started throwing his fists in the air and then putting them both to one side... finally, he rolled over, towards me. From his back to his belly... and then again from his belly to his back... he ended up right in front of me... like he put himself there intentionally because he wanted me to change his diaper! (he hates having a dirty diaper).

See, he's been rolling over, but we just never actually saw him doing it! It was sooo cute to watch him :D

8 Weeks old

Still no camera :( Sucks big time.

Wyatt's 24" long. Not sure of his weight. But, I do know he's getting heavier :D

He's smling a lot more :D And talking/cooing more too:D

He doesn't like have a dirty diaper, esp. a poopy one. The other day, I left him sleeping in bed while I got up for Calista (school) and I went to check on him and he was so upset; squirming and flailing his arms and legs around. I picked him up and he had poopy... coming out of his diaper, up his back. I brought him out to change his diaper and saw he had scratched his face with all that flailing!

Right now, his cheeks are rashy... I'm pretty sure it has to do with him having sensitive skin and us going down to visit my family last weekend. Ursula was like that. If whatever cloth rubbed her face, or even up against her face, and the cloth wasn't double rinsed in the washing machine, she'd get rashy, esp. on her face.

Sometimes at night, he'll wiggle around and I try to nurse him but that's not what he wants... he just wants to snuggle up next to the 'noonie' :D hehe Its funny :D

7 Weeks Old

Well, looks like my camera quit on me today :(

The batteries ran out, so I put them in the charger, took recharged ones out and my camera didn't work. I tried quite a few of the other batteries, even a couple of brand-new, regular batteries, straight out the package, to no avail :(

In other words, no 7 wk pics of Wyatt :((

So, on to his upate:

He barely has any snot now! woohoo!!! He's coughing, but barely at all too! Yay! Looks like it was that same thing the girls 'caught'... a virus/cold/whatever. I know that whatever it was, its helping build up him immune system :D

I don't know his weight, but his 0-3 mth clothes are just fitting... and some of the ones that snap at the crotch, don't snap anymore. Which means I'll have to bust open the huge trash bag of 3-6 mth clothes! hehehe His size one disposable diapers barely fit. If we buy more, it'll have to be a size 2. But, maybe by now, his cloth diapers fit him.

He still sleeps a good bit but does have more awake time :D He's smiles a good bit too :D Big smiles, even with his eyes :D I'll be holding him on my lap, look down, and he's looking up at me with this huge smile. Too sweet!

Ursula's still loving him... sometimes too much. She can't get enough of him.

The other day, she whispered in his ear, "You're my best friend and... you're my lady"... I laughed! hehehe Then I had tell her that he's not going to be a lady, but a man like daddy. So now, she tells him he's her boy... and whispers to him, "you're a man"... hehehe

He's just the sweetest thing!

I feel badly for him though right now... he seems to have a cold :( When he's awake, he seems to want to spit out some phlegm but then he swallows it. Even his little voice is kind of hoarse :(

Two weeks ago exactly, we had brought the kids to the girls' annual check-up. At that time, they were all totally fine, in good health. The nurse checked Wyatt out real quick too, bonus :D

Well, in the waiting room, Ursula was licking the back of her chair. That child and her oral fixation... she's always got something in her mouth or licking something. So, I get her to stop. Within a week, she has fever and then she's congested. The fever produced a mouthful of fever blisters for the poor child :( Today is Wyatt's 3rd day of this coughing/congestion. Calista is kind of coughing, not bad at all though... she didn't go through a fever either.

Since Jeremy took today off to bring me to my postpardum check-up, I'll go ahead and call to see what I can do about Wyatt. Jeremy is getting concerned/worried. If it is just something benign that needs to run its coarse, I can deal with that with no problem. I just don't want it to get any worse... I mean, he's still a newborn! Thankfully, I nurse him.

I'll update when I find out something.

A Big Smile!

Caught him (well, at least half of his face) smiling today! woohoo What a sweet smile! hehehe
He's 5 wks 3 days :)

Oh, and his little face looks like its broken out (doesn't look that bad in person though) probably because I put him to sleep on the sofa today and the cover that's on the sofa wasn't double rinsed. Ursula was like that too... if any material that came close to her face wasn't double rinsed, she'd have a little rash for that day.

Rolling Over

OMG! Wyatt surprised the heck out of me today!

I had put him down for one of his many naps, on his belly, in that nice bassinet that Tasha gave me. When I heard him waking up, he was on his back! And no... no one moved him; I was in the living room/kitchen aread that whole time he was asleep (that's where the bassinet is also).

My girls didn't roll over until they were like 4 or 5 mths old... like around the time they were able to sit up!

But you know, I shouldn't be all that surprised because that little boy wiggles his way toward me all the time in bed! hehee

His nose is finally clearing up!!! Its not totally clear yet... but, its way better! He was so quiet in bed last night, I kept waking up to check if he was breathing or not! hehehe

Wyatt's One Month Old

hehehe Yes, almost the exact same as him being 4 weeks... hehehe but, why not do another update?

He's starting to smile a lot more! And a little bit of cooing... not too much though.

He's so funny... during the day, I can put him down while he's sleeping and get stuff done (that is until his well-intended sister, Ursula wakes him up with tons of kisses) but at night, he just has to be right up against me; esp next to one of his milk sources... even though he isn't nursing. Like, I'll get up to go to the bathroom or drink some water in the middle of the night and he'll grunt and grunt and wiggle until I return to bed then he'll promptly go back to sleep! Little pumpkin! hehehe

I'm so excited because he's fitting all of his 0-3 mth clothes! woohoo! And he has PLENTY of them thanks to his Aunt Tasha!!! hehehe She has a 2 yr. old boy who's almost exactly 2 yrs older than Wyatt so she's passing down all of his clothes! That's sooo awesome of her too! And saves us soooo much money... esp. since all the clothes are super nice and NOT stained! He has some clothes from his Aunt Tori too and a friend of mine is sending me boy clothes too! hehehe So, Wyatt is pretty much the best dressed newborn around! hehehe

Yep, that's him sleeping peacefully in there!

Jeremy's sister, Tasha, gave us this bassinet that's also a changing table... actually, she said its like 5 things in one :) This is so helpful during the day! Its high enough that Ursula can't wake him up and I can get chores accomplished! woohoo!
He still sleeps in the bed with us at night though :) He likes it there and I like him there too :D

Wyatt's 4 Weeks Old Today

Wyatt is just such a good baby! You barely ever hear him cry. He is still sleeping a whole lot. Still a little snotty, not as bad as before, thankfully. He poops one or two times a day. I'm not sure about his weight. My girls have a check-up today (supposedly) and I'll try to get the nurse to weigh him while we're there. I know he's heavier. I'd say he's at least 10 lbs; my guesstimate.

He's wearing a 'big boy' outfit today! First time I've tried it on him and it fits! Of course, its a 0-3 mth size. But, the clothes all look so big before I put them on him.

He's starting to reach for things :D

He's still having those very active REM's... where his eyes open, roll around, he smiles, frowns, makes happy or sad noises. I actually have some video footage of it now :D Its so cute :)

We just got home from being away for the weekend. Jeremy put on a metal roof for his sister's in-laws. It was a really nice weekend there. They have everything a child could want to play on or with! hehe And they kept saying what a handsome boy Wyatt is! hehehe I mean, really, does that ever get old? I don't think so :D hehehe

Brought the girls to a KidMed checkup and the nurse was nice enough to check out Wyatt too. She checked his chest and said it was clear... just has nasal congestion. I weighed him with his clothes on and he weighed 10lbs 4 oz. So, I'm sure without clothes he weighs a little over 10 lbs! Woohoo! :D He's doing well :)

Inbetween Weekly Updates

3 Weeks Old

Well, this past week, his eyelashes are coming in and he has tears!
He's still sleeping a whole lot! Its crazy! I don't remember my girls ever sleeping like that! I wonder if he's gearing up to be a hyper child? lol Oh, he's also found his voice! hehehe But, I love that little cry!
He still looks like a newborn :D


This time, Wyatt has company :D This is his cousin, Veronica who's 3 weeks older than he is... My brother's daughter. These 2 pictures were taken yesterday, so, they are the closest to his 'true' 3 week age because I didn't take any pictures today, for some reason.

Wyatt's 2 Weeks Old

Yes, they're funny; I give you permission to laugh :D

But, really, newborns do look alienish... hehehe

He's starting to stretch his legs out now instead of keeping them in a fetal position.

He's also quite snotty. Poor baby, I have to suction his nose a few times a day so that he can nurse. Its worse at night though; that's when he gets suctioned most.

And he still sleeps a whole lot!!!

I think that if he wouldn't get so snotty at night, he would probably sleep through the night already! Seriously!

I told Jeremy he may look like him and sleep like him, but he's going to have a sweet personality!!! LOL

Good Dreams

If this isn't the cutest thing... hehehe

I love watching Wyatt sleep. His expressions go from extremely sad looking to very happy, along with the appropriate sounds to accompany the looks.

I also find it funny that a baby this young can have these expressions/emotions while sleeping but it takes a little longer for them to do it while awake.

I believe Ursula was 3 wks old when she smiled voluntarily while awake.

It does look like Wyatt wants to smile while awake... he also looks like he wants to talk to us. He opens his mouth and it seems like he tries to mimic the way our mouth looks when we talk to him :D

And yeah, he opens his eyes while he's sleeping too :D hehehe

Thumb Sucking
